IU football reaches highest ranking in AP poll since 2020.
(AP) — Indiana University football team has reached its highest ranking in the Associated Press college football poll since 2020, securing the No. 8 spot after a remarkable victory over Michigan State. This is the Hoosiers' best ranking in a non-pandemic season since they were ranked No. 4 during their 1967 Rose Bowl season.
The Hoosiers showcased their dominance with a convincing 47-10 win on the road, marking a historic milestone as they became 9-0 for the first time in program history. Impressively, every win this season has come by double digits.

Oregon maintained its position as the unanimous No. 1 team in the AP Top 25 for the third consecutive week following a strong performance against Michigan, solidifying its chances for a top selection in the upcoming College Football Playoff rankings.
