LIV Golf Tournament Set to Arrive in Westfield
WESTFIELD, Ind. — The LIV Golf tournament is making its debut in Indiana, set to take place in Westfield from August 15-17, 2025. An agreement has been confirmed between the city and LIV Golf to host this exciting event at The Club at Chatham Hills.
This highly anticipated tournament is expected to attract around 75,000 fans over the three-day period, generating an impressive economic impact of nearly $30 million for Westfield and the surrounding Indianapolis area.
The tournament will be particularly significant as it serves as the individual champions final, with a typical purse of $4 million awarded to the winner. Fans can look forward to witnessing top-tier talent, including multiple major champions who have recently excelled in their careers. Notable players such as Bryson DeChambeau, who claimed victory at the US Open in 2023, Jon Rahm (winner of The Masters), Brooks Koepka (PGA Championship champion), and Cameron Smith (The Open champion) will be among those competing.
"Jon Rahm won the individual championship for LIV Golf in 2024, with Joaquin Niemann and Sergio Garcia rounding out the top three."
In addition to these stars, other Masters champions on the LIV Golf tour include Dustin Johnson (2020), Patrick Reed (2018), Sergio Garcia (2017), Bubba Watson (2012 and 2014), Charl Schwartzel (2011), and Phil Mickelson (2004, 2006, and 2010).
The event will also feature live entertainment throughout the weekend. Past performers have included popular artists such as Bailey Zimmerman, Martin Garrix, Macklemore, Dan + Shay, Zac Brown Band, and Nelly.
The Club at Chatham Hills has previously hosted prestigious events like the NCAA women’s golf regional in 2023 and the PGA Indiana Open in 2022. Designed by renowned architect Pete Dye, it was his last course designed and built on site. Dye is celebrated for creating several iconic courses in the Indianapolis area including Crooked Stick Golf Club and Brickyard Crossing.
