Amazon's 'Thank My Driver' Program Hits Tip Limit, But Other Ways to Show Appreciation Remain

This year, Amazon has reintroduced its “Thank My Driver” holiday promotion, which has quickly reached its tipping limit.
Through this initiative, customers can express their gratitude by tipping their most recent delivery driver $5 at no cost to themselves. This can be done simply by saying, “Alexa, thank my driver,” using an Amazon Alexa device or by selecting the option in the Amazon app.
The promotion began on December 4 and hit its cap of two million tips within just six days.
But you can still show your appreciation for your Amazon delivery driver and help them earn some extra cash for the holiday season.
For the remainder of December, Amazon will reward its top-thanked drivers with daily prizes of $100. Additionally, the seven drivers who receive the most thanks each week will each get $10,000.
At the end of the month, the top seven thanked drivers from the entire promotion will be awarded $25,000 each and have the option to direct an additional $25,000 to a charity of their choice, all funded by Amazon.
