Pawsome Pals: Celebrating the Joy of Friendship with Great Danes

Celebrating the joy of friendship is at the heart of "The Friend," a new movie featuring a lovable Great Dane. The film, now showing at Living Room Theaters, tells the story of a dog named Bing and aims to raise awareness about the responsibilities of owning a Great Dane.

To highlight the importance of responsible pet ownership, Patty was joined by three Great Danes on "Pet Pals TV" - Karen Lockwood, Taylor Woener, and Chloe Nelson. These furry friends are known for their size and affectionate nature, but they require significant care and attention.

"They're all very different," said Nelson.

Lockwood emphasized the importance of socialization and training due to their size, as they can unintentionally harm people since they love affection so much. With proper care, Great Danes make wonderful companions, but it's crucial to do your research before adopting one.

The "The Friend" screening event at Living Room Theaters will not only showcase the movie but also promote Forever Friends Great Dane, a rescue organization dedicated to finding forever homes for these lovable dogs. While attendees are encouraged to attend without their own pets, some Great Danes will be present to mingle and bring joy.
