Fair Supports Healthy Development of Babies and New Mothers

New and expecting mothers got some help to ensure their child's health at a recent resource fair. Caresource of Indiana, which offers health insurance plans through Medicare and Medicaid, aimed to close healthcare gaps and combat poor maternal and neonatal health outcomes in the state."This was a baby shower for the community," said organizers. "We're not just giving away diapers and supplies – we're also helping navigate insurance issues as the Braun administration looks to restrict Medicaid enrollment in Indiana."The event provided a valuable resource for new mothers, offering support and guidance as they prepare for the arrival of their babies. With several more events planned across the state in the coming months, expectant parents will have additional opportunities to receive assistance and ensure the healthy development of their little ones.
