Kicking off a wet Easter weekend, multiple waves of showers and storms are expected to sweep across Indiana starting early Saturday morning and continuing through Easter Sunday.

Friday night will see showers and storms moving into the state, with widespread coverage and areas of heavy rain. A Slight Risk (level 2/5) for severe storms is in place, bringing wind and hail as main threats, although a very low tornado threat cannot be ruled out.
Lows will dip into the low to mid 60s on Friday night.
Saturday will be a wet day, with showers persisting through daybreak. The Carmel marathon will likely see some rumbles of thunder and scattered rain coverage may briefly turn in the afternoon hours. There's also a very low shot for isolated strong storms in the afternoon and nighttime hours, bringing hail and wind as main concerns.
Highs on Saturday will reach the mid to upper 60s.
Easter Sunday will see scattered showers and storms lingering through daybreak, with the possibility of emerging into rain-free conditions by Sunday afternoon. The final wave of activity arrives by late Sunday night into early Monday morning.
Rainfall totals look to be up to 1″-3″ by Monday afternoon.
Highs on Easter Sunday will top out in the upper 60s to low 70s in central Indiana.
