"Swifties Head to Indianapolis in Hopes of Scoring Last-Minute Tickets"

Why some Swifties are flocking to Indy - even without tickets

INDIANAPOLIS— The weekend many have been waiting for has finally arrived, and "Swift City" is buzzing with excitement.

The first of the three-night Eras Tour at Lucas Oil Stadium has drawn thousands of fans to the Circle City.

Many Swifties are sharing their experiences on social media, expressing that although they lack tickets, they're still hopeful about scoring last-minute ones.

“Ticketmaster kind of screwed everything up and it's impossible to get tickets now," said Chelsea Taylor, a devoted Swiftie.

With soaring prices and an overwhelming demand, she remains optimistic about landing those elusive last-minute tickets.

Taylor is among the many fans on TikTok who have made plans to travel to Indianapolis and hope for a stroke of luck.

“My plan is to try and just refresh all day see if there's a drop because sometimes there's random drops," said Taylor. "I’m part of a Taylor Swift discord where they also announce if a queue has opened too."

She booked both her hotel and flight from Georgia, spending hundreds of dollars just to be in the same city as Taylor Swift.

"I am so excited and I have a bunch of friendship bracelets already made," said Taylor. "I'm excited to explore a new city."

One highlight on her list is visiting the mural dedicated to Taylor at the J.W. Marriott, which has become a popular spot for fans.

Taylor hopes to connect with other Swifties during her visit and ultimately step foot into the stadium.

“If anything being with the community of Swifties is more than enough," said Taylor.

If you're also hoping for last-minute tickets, be cautious of potential scammers.
