Teen Driver Killed in SUV Crash and Rollover in Hendricks County

PITTSBORO, Ind. — A tragic accident claimed the life of a 16-year-old girl in Hendricks County on Monday morning. Morgan Henderson was driving her tan Nissan SUV westbound on County Road 900 North when, around 8:30 a.m., her vehicle veered off the road.

In the ensuing rollover, the SUV collided with a pickup truck parked in a private driveway just west of County Road 150 East. Emergency responders pronounced Henderson dead at the scene.

According to the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office, while speed may have played a role in the crash, there is no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Ms. Henderson as they continue to navigate the tragic loss of their loved one,”

the sheriff’s office stated in a release.
