Boilermakers' Streak Continues: Purdue Makes 10th Consecutive NCAA Tournament Appearance
Purdue is heading to the NCAA Tournament for the 10th consecutive year, solidifying its reputation as a consistent powerhouse in college basketball. As a No. 4 seed, the Boilermakers will face off against No. 13 seed High Point on Thursday at 12:40 p.m. Eastern.
The game will be played in Providence, Rhode Island, with Purdue competing in the Midwest Regional, which will host the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games in Indianapolis if they advance. If Purdue emerges victorious in their First Round matchup, they will take on the winner of No. 5 seed Clemson and No. 12 seed McNeese.
This marks the ninth straight tournament that Purdue has been seeded fifth or higher, a testament to their consistent success at the national level. The team heads into the tournament with a 22-11 record, having lost in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals to Michigan, 86-68.
Last season, Purdue made it all the way to the National Championship game, where they ultimately fell to UConn.
