Colts Reveal Schedule Amid Controversy
The Indianapolis Colts revealed their 2025 schedule amidst controversy surrounding a Minecraft-themed video release on social media. The initial clip showed a dolphin with the name "Hill" above it, being stopped by the Coast Guard. This reference to Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill sparked backlash and was deleted. The issue wasn't just about the inclusion of Hill's name; the Colts also exceeded their rights with Microsoft, which owns Minecraft. As a result, the team issued an apology statement: "We removed our schedule release video because it exceeded our rights with Microsoft and included an insensitive clip involving Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tyreek."According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said that Hill "didn't take the Colts' schedule release post seriously and he thought it was funny." The controversy surrounding the video overshadowed the actual schedule release.Notably, the Colts will face off against Hill and the Dolphins in their 2025 season opener at home.
