Hoosiers Fall Short of NCAA Tournament Berth
IU men's basketball fell short of an NCAA Tournament berth, finishing as the second team out of the tournament. Despite a 19-13 record, the Hoosiers' lack of Quad 1 wins and losses outside of top-ranked opponents ultimately hurt their chances.
"We're not satisfied with where we are," said IU coach Mike Woodson. "I think our guys have worked hard enough to get us in position to be a NCAA Tournament team."
The Hoosiers' season was marked by limited success against the top-ranked teams, with only four Quad 1 wins and just two victories over NCAA Tournament-bound opponents.
This marks the second consecutive year that IU has missed out on the NCAA Tournament.
