NFL Scouting Combine to Remain in Indianapolis Past 2025

INDIANAPOLIS — The NFL Scouting Combine will continue to be held in Indianapolis through 2026, according to sources. This marks a one-year extension for the prestigious event, which was already set to take place from February 27 to March 2, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine will mark the 39th consecutive year that Indianapolis has hosted this important event, which allows NFL scouts to evaluate the top draft-eligible college players.

While there have been discussions about relocating the Combine, with cities like Dallas and Los Angeles expressing interest in hosting it in 2023 and 2024, the event will remain in its current home for now.

The economic impact of the NFL Combine is significant; for instance, the 2024 event generated an estimated $10 million and attracted over 27,000 fans. In addition to football evaluations, Indy’s recent combines included initiatives like the Kicking the Stigma program, which focuses on mental health awareness.

The Scouting Combine has also featured a fan festival known as the NFL Combine Experience. In past years, this festival offered fans opportunities such as taking photos with the Colts' Super Bowl XLI Vince Lombardi Trophy and viewing all 57 Super Bowl rings. Attendees could engage in various games and purchase merchandise from the NFL Shop.

The NFL Combine Experience will return in the South Lot of Lucas Oil Stadium in 2025. Fans can look forward to an “Inside Look” experience that provides up-close access to observe future stars of the NFL.

“Indianapolis is uniquely designed and built to host an event as complex as the NFL Combine,” said Colts COO Pete Ward. “Efficiently moving prospects, team owners, coaching staff, medical personnel, and national media is seamlessly done in Indy, and the Colts are proud to be part of the team keeping the event in our city.”

Fans interested in attending can register their interest now at NFL.com/Combine ahead of official registration opening in March.
