Pacers Reach Eastern Conference Finals
The Indiana Pacers have reached the Eastern Conference Finals for the second consecutive year after beating the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 by a score of 114-105.
"We're proud of our team for digging deep and coming out on top," said Tyrese Haliburton, Pacers guard. "We knew we had to stay focused and play together as a unit." Pascal Siakam, forward, added, "We never gave up. We fought hard and got the win."
The Pacers were down by as many as 19 points in the first half but staged a remarkable comeback, taking the lead in the third quarter with a 19-2 run.
The team will now face off against the winner of the series between the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics.
