Rebound: Re-Entry Basketball Tournament Returns to Gainbridge Fieldhouse
Pacers Sports & Entertainment will host the inaugural Rebound for Re-Entry 3 v 3 Basketball Tournament on September 13, 2025, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Morris Bicentennial Plaza in Indianapolis to raise funds for community re-entry programs.
The tournament is organized by Public Advocates in Community re-Entry (PACE), a nonprofit dedicated to assisting individuals transitioning from incarceration back into the community. The event aims to promote community involvement, physical fitness, and good sportsmanship while raising critical funds for PACE’s programs.
“We are thrilled Pacers Sports & Entertainment is hosting the Rebound for Re-Entry tournament,” PACE Executive Director Rhiannon Edwards said. “This event not only highlights the power of sports in building community but also raises necessary funds to support our programs aimed at helping individuals re-enter society with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.”
The Rebound for Re-Entry tournament will feature competitive basketball action, local entertainment, and family-friendly activities. Teams will compete for over $5,000 in prize money, with the winning team receiving $3,000. Individuals 18 and older can register to compete, volunteer, or attend as spectators.
Registration for team entries is open on a first-come, first-served basis. Sponsorship opportunities and direct donations to PACE are also available for those interested in supporting the cause. PACE provides case management, recovery support, moral reconciliation therapy, workforce development, and other services to individuals involved in the justice system and their families.
