INDIANAPOLIS — Indy’s latest sports bar aims to provide locals with an unmatched sports-watching experience.

“Tom's Watch Bar is a high-energy, activation-rich sports bar that tries to recreate the stadium energy within our restaurant,” said Jason Cooney, Operations Manager of Tom’s Watch Bar.

Opened on Illinois Street just steps from Georgia Street, Tom’s boasts over 130 TVs, ensuring that every seat in the downtown eatery offers a great view of the game.

With numerous locations nationwide, Cooney noted that bringing the franchise to Indianapolis was a natural choice.

“We look for sports-loving towns where fans come out to celebrate their teams. Sports persist; they overpower everything. It doesn’t matter what's happening in the world—sports provide an escape and a chance for people to celebrate and have fun,” he explained.

Downtown Indy Inc. encourages visitors to explore downtown Indianapolis, highlighting Tom’s as a valuable addition to Georgia Street, which is poised for future growth.

“Having an entertainment destination in that district is a fantastic enhancement for the area,” stated Taylor Schaffer, President and CEO of Downtown Indy.

Schaffer continued discussing the ongoing development in the Wholesale District: “The redevelopment of Circle Center and city investments in street infrastructure will enhance connectivity. It's exciting to see external investors recognizing this vision and contributing towards elevating the overall experience.”
