Jon Collins-Black, an entrepreneur turned author, has recently unveiled a captivating book that guides readers to five hidden treasure chests scattered across the U.S., with a staggering combined prize value of over $2 million.

This adventure is being touted as the “largest national treasure hunt in history,” inspired in part by Forest Fenn’s famous hidden treasure that was discovered in the Rocky Mountains back in 2010.

The book, titled “There’s Treasure Inside,” is also influenced by Collins-Black’s childhood passion for games and puzzles, particularly his fondness for “Dungeons & Dragons.”

The treasures concealed within these boxes include an array of exciting items such as Bitcoin, rare Pokemon cards, sports memorabilia, gold, and precious gems. Additionally, some objects boast historical significance, including pieces associated with notable figures like Pablo Picasso, Andrew Carnegie, George Washington, Amelia Earhart, Jackie Onassis, Henry David Thoreau, and Louis Comfort Tiffany.

Collins-Black collaborated with historians and experts to curate a unique collection of treasures that cater to diverse interests. He invested over $2 million into assembling these treasure chests; several items are considered priceless due to their historical importance or potential appreciation in value over time.

The boxes themselves required more than a year to craft by a skilled Blacksmith and can be opened using special movements detailed in the instructions provided with each box.

Collins-Black designed multiple boxes so that more individuals could have the chance to discover them. While there is only one box per state, one of the chests is notably larger than the others.

“The stories and histories surrounding the pieces in this treasure are captivating, inspirational, and full of drama,” Collins-Black stated.
