Emma Donnan Schools Host 5th Annual Holiday Shop to Support Students in Need

INDIANAPOLIS — The Adelante Schools at Emma Donnan Elementary and Middle School proudly hosted their fifth annual holiday shop on Friday, providing a valuable service to students and their families.

This heartwarming event offered attendees the opportunity to select toys, clothing, food, and essential household items for the winter season.

“We want our scholars to have everything they need,” said Kendra Randle, Executive Principal. “We are already supplying them with healthy food options and great education, so we want to also make sure we take care of them in other ways as well.”

Randle expressed her gratitude for the partnerships that contributed to the success of the holiday shop.

Generous donations came from various organizations, including the Patachou Foundation, Great Harvest Food Pantry, the Orchard School, and IMPD.

“We can’t do this work alone. We have so many amazing sponsors that have donated things to our families and scholars,” Randle remarked. “It’s been an amazing opportunity to spread holiday cheer and joy across our school.”

The holiday shop is estimated to have assisted around 200 families this year.
