Boone County's I-65 South Reopens After Fatal Crash

At least one person died in a fatal crash on I-65 southbound just north of Lebanon, Indiana, on Thursday morning. Indiana State Police Sgt. Perrine confirmed the crash, saying it happened sometime before 9:00 a.m. near the 149-mile marker, close to a rest stop area.

At least three vehicles were involved in the crash, including two semitrucks, according to Sgt. Perrine.

The extent of injuries is currently unknown, but INDOT reported that all lanes of southbound traffic were closed at 9:15 a.m. Thursday due to the incident.
