Cooler and breezy for the start of the work week, with more thunderstorms possible by mid-week.A few early morning light showers are possible this morning around the Indy metro area. Look for mainly cloudy conditions for much of the afternoon, with temperatures staying fairly steady in the mid 40s. It's going to be a breezy day today, with winds gusting at times near 20 and 25 mph.Tonight, clouds will begin to clear overnight and it will turn chilly, with low temperatures falling around freezing in Indianapolis and into the twenties farther northward. Winds will still be a bit breezy out of the north, gusting near 20 mph.Tomorrow looks absolutely gorgeous, with lots of sunshine and seasonable conditions. High temperatures will climb into the mid '50s, which is right around normal for this time of year. The winds will be relatively light out of the east.If you're heading to the Indianapolis Indians home opener versus the Iowa Cubs, great weather conditions are expected. First pitch will be at 6:35 p.m. and it will be dry with a few more clouds. Rain chances won't develop until overnight Tuesday.We're keeping a close eye on a storm system that will move through on Wednesday. Winds may gust upwards of 30 miles per hour, bringing a good chance for some showers and thunderstorms. Some of those thunderstorms could be on the stronger side, with an enhanced risk across the entire state of Indiana. Temperatures on Wednesday will climb into the '70s.This unsettled weather continues for the end of the work week, with showers and storms possible Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will drop back into the '60s. Over the weekend, rain is likely on Saturday but drying out on Sunday. Temperatures will drop back into the '50s.
