Decades' Past Meets Present Weather: 80s Return Today, Rain Arrives Friday
Warm conditions are headed your way today, with 80s temperatures expected in the afternoon under partly cloudy skies and light winds. While it will be a gorgeous day with a summer-like feel, there's a chance for isolated showers later this afternoon into the early evening hours.
Today's high is expected to climb into the lower 80s, while normal highs for this time of year are in the mid-60s.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a few isolated showers and possibly some thunder. Lows will only fall into the low and middle 60s.
On Friday, a storm system will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the area, with a chance of light to moderate rain at times. High temperatures will reach the mid-60s, with around an inch or more rainfall possible across Central and Southern Indiana.
The weekend is expected to be cooler, with highs near 64 on Saturday and right around 70 on Sunday under partly cloudy skies.
Looking ahead to next week, Monday will bring partly cloudy skies and a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be around 78. Tuesday may see stronger thunderstorms, so stay tuned to the forecast heading into the first part of the week.
