Fatal Shooting Erupts at Louisville Motor Vehicle Office

Police responded to a motor vehicle office in Louisville on Friday, where they found three people shot and killed. According to Louisville Metro Police Department Maj. Donald Boeckman, officers were called to the scene around noon and discovered one person deceased and two others wounded.

The two wounded individuals were taken to the hospital, where they sadly succumbed to their injuries. Boeckman assured reporters that there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The shooting occurred at a state Driver Licensing Office on the southern outskirts of Louisville.

Boeckman identified the victims as a man and two women. The suspect or suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, but Boeckman did not provide a description of the vehicle. Investigators are still reviewing surveillance video to gather more information.
