Forecast: A Warm Week with Isolated Storms Ahead

A warm week is ahead, but don't expect a complete lack of rain showers and thunderstorms. A summer-like pattern could be in place for the rest of the week.

Tuesday: Temperature starting out into the '50s this morning with some cloud cover. We will see some rain chances develop later into the late morning and into the afternoon hours as well. High temperatures will be climbing into the middle 70s, which is above our normal high of 72. It won't be a complete wash out today, but we will see on and off showers and thunderstorms. No severe weather is expected.

Tuesday: Rain comes to an end shortly after the sun sets. Will look for partly cloudy skies with lows falling into the lower 60s.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy skies expected on your Tuesday, a few showers and thunderstorms possible into the afternoon. High temperatures once again climbing into the mid-70s.

Wednesday: Much of the day should be dry with partly cloudy skies. Just an isolated shower possible later in the afternoon with highs in the lower 80s.

7 Day Extended Forecast:

"We may even be on record watch."

On Thursday, it will be a little bit more humid throughout the day. Temperatures climb into the mid and even upper 80s at times. We may see showers and thunderstorms possible late in the day on Thursday, and some of those may be on the stronger side.

Friday: Quiet conditions as we end out the work week, partly cloudy with highs in the mid-80s. Right now it looks like there is a chance of some rain on the first part of Saturday. We may begin to dry things out for the afternoon with highs in the 70s. Sunday looks good as well with dry conditions as we are heading into qualifying weekend for the Indianapolis 500.
