I-65 Shut Down After Fatal Accident in Boone County

At least one person died in a fatal crash on I-65 southbound just north of Lebanon, Indiana, Thursday morning. The accident occurred sometime before 9 a.m. near the 149-mile marker close to a rest stop area."At least three vehicles were involved, including two semitrucks," said Indiana State Police Sgt. Perrine.According to officials, all lanes of southbound traffic were closed at 9:15 a.m., with no immediate word on when they would reopen or how many people were injured.
