Indiana Man Arrested for Threatening Elon Musk Online

An Indiana man was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly making life-threatening statements directed at billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk.

The 28-year-old suspect, whose identity has not been released, was the subject of an investigation initiated by Texas authorities. According to reports, the concerning posts were made earlier this month through an online handle believed to belong to him.

Early on Tuesday, Indiana State Police detectives located the suspect in Clarksville, Indiana, and took him into custody without incident. He was then transported to the Sellersburg Post for further questioning about the threats he allegedly made against Musk.

"We take all threats seriously, regardless of who they're directed at," said a spokesperson for the Indiana State Police.

In addition to the arrest, detectives sought and were granted a search warrant for the man's home in Palmyra. During the search, law enforcement officials confiscated an AR-15-style rifle, a handgun, ammunition, and a ballistic vest.

The suspect is currently facing charges of Intimidation, classified as a Level 5 Felony in Indiana. He is being held at the Harrison County Jail without bond as the investigation continues.
