Man Convicted of Murder in Sullivan County
A Sullivan County jury has convicted a 39-year-old man, William Grimes, for his role in the murder of 85-year-old retired farmer Lowell Badger in 2012.
Grimes, who is already serving time in prison for two unrelated convictions and will not be eligible for release until 2053, was indicted in April 2024. He will be sentenced next month on June 13.
"We're pleased with the verdict," said a spokesperson for Indiana State Police. "Justice has been served for Lowell Badger and his family."
