Marion Homicide Investigation: Man Arrested

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 55-year-old man in Marion, Indiana.

According to police, officers were called to a residence on West 9th Street at around 12:28pm on Friday after receiving a report of domestic violence and a medical condition. When they arrived, they found the 55-year-old man unresponsive and attempted to provide life-saving techniques until medical personnel arrived.

Tragically, the man was pronounced dead shortly after medics arrived.

An investigation revealed that Quad Story, also of Marion, had been involved in a domestic altercation with his mother at the residence before 911 was called. During this altercation, Story's mother suffered a moderate injury to her face and head area.

The 55-year-old man attempted to intervene in the situation, but was pushed by Story, causing him to collapse in an alleyway. He then made his way to the rear of another residence on West 9th Street before losing consciousness and 911 being called.

Story was subsequently found and arrested by officers. He has been preliminarily charged with involuntary manslaughter and domestic battery resulting in moderate injury.
