Silver Alert Issued for Missing Children in Newburgh

Indiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert for two missing children in Newburgh, Indiana. The alert is for Zy’ria Salas, a 3-year-old black female who is 3 feet tall and weighs 35 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Zacari Owens, a 1-year-old black male who is also 3 feet tall and weighs 30 pounds, has the same physical characteristics as Zy’ria, including black hair and brown eyes.

The children were last seen on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 2:00 pm. They were reportedly in the company of their mother, Damyiah Owens, a 25-year-old black female who is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

"Zy’ria and Zacari are believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance," said police. "If you have any information on their whereabouts, please contact the Warrick County Sheriff's Office at (812) 897-1200 or 911."
