West Side Indianapolis Fire Damages Multiple Homes

A fire that started early Friday morning on Indianapolis' west side damaged multiple homes, authorities said.

Firefighters responded to the scene near West 21st Street and North Raceway Road just before 3:15 a.m., where they found the blaze had spread from one residence to two neighboring homes.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but no further injuries have been reported.

"We're still in the process of investigating the cause of the fire," said [Fire Official]. "It's an ongoing investigation, and we'll release more information as it becomes available."
