At-Home Store in Bloomington to Close
At-Home, a retailer specializing in home décor and furnishings, will close its Bloomington store due to bankruptcy restructuring. According to the company's news release, the store has been offering savings for customers looking to buy its remaining inventory with all sales final.
"We are taking this step to maximize value for our stakeholders while we continue to navigate the challenges facing our industry,"
The Bloomington store opened in 2019 in a former Kmart store located off West Third Street. The closure is part of At Home's efforts to sell its remaining inventory, fixtures, and equipment, with all sales final.
About two dozen At-Home stores are closing in the U.S. as part of the bankruptcy restructuring. Remaining Indiana stores can be found on the north and south sides of Indianapolis, as well as in Avon, Fort Wayne, Lafayette, and Noblesville.
