Hertz Takes to Amazon to Sell Used Cars
Hertz is taking its used car sales online, partnering with Amazon to sell vehicles through the e-commerce giant's Amazon Autos platform. The collaboration was announced on Wednesday.
The partnership expands Amazon Autos' inventory for shoppers to browse, finance and purchase a larger variety of cars from different brands.
"Amazon Autos has been a huge success, and we're excited to bring our extensive selection of used vehicles to the platform," said Hertz's Chief Customer Experience Officer. "Now, customers will have even more options to find their perfect car."
Through Amazon Autos, customers can buy a car online and pick it up at a Hertz Car Sales location. The service is initially launching in Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and Seattle, with plans to expand to more cities.
To find Hertz's available inventory on Amazon Autos, customers can visit Amazon.com/autos or search "Hertz vehicles" on the platform. This will show them available vehicles within a 75-mile radius.
