Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Launches in Hamilton County

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library has launched in Hamilton County, making free books available to children from birth to age five at no cost to families.

The program delivers age-appropriate books directly to children, with the Dollywood Foundation securing books at a discounted rate and local partners funding mailing and program costs.

In Hamilton County, the initiative is fully funded for its first three years by the Hamilton County Council, the state of Indiana, and the Centerpoint Energy Foundation.

"The Imagination Library is a wonderful way to foster a love of reading in our young children," said [quote from local leader or official]. "We are thrilled to be able to bring this program to families in Hamilton County."
