Tyrese Haliburton, star point guard for the Indiana Pacers, announced his engagement to college sweetheart Jade Jones on Instagram.

The proposal took place at Hilton Coliseum at Iowa State University, where Haliburton played college basketball and met Jones, a cheerleader. The couple's romance began on the same campus where they first crossed paths.

As Haliburton recovers from a torn right Achilles tendon suffered during the 2025 NBA Finals, he remains committed to his team and organization. Despite being sidelined for the 2025-26 season, he has been actively involved in supporting younger players at Pacers Summer League practices and attending other sporting events in Indianapolis, including WNBA All-Star Game and Indiana Fever games.
