Circle of Lights Makes Its Comeback at Monument Circle This Week

INDIANAPOLIS — One of Indianapolis's most cherished holiday traditions returns to Monument Circle this week. On Friday, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument will be illuminated like a giant Christmas tree, with the ceremonial "flip of the switch" scheduled for 6:50 p.m.
The festivities will feature live entertainment, holiday performances, delicious food and beverages, and a special appearance by Santa Claus.
This year, the performance stage will be located on the north side of the monument due to ongoing construction at the south end of the circle.
Attendees can access Monument Circle from East and West Market Streets as well as from the south spoke entrance at Washington and Meridian Streets.
