Tony Etchison Memorial Foundation's Fourth Annual Golf Outing
The Tony Etchison Memorial Foundation is gearing up for its fourth annual golf outing on July 21. The event aims to raise funds for the foundation, which supports youth assistance programs and the Noblesville Boys & Girls Club.
Tony Etchison died in a farming accident at age 47 in 2019. He was an insurance agent, farmer, and passionate about helping others.
"Lots of stories emerged after his passing related to how he gave back to the community, and he gave back to children. Some never knew until after his passing," explained Jody Roudebush, one of the foundation's board members.
The Tony Etchison Memorial Foundation was created in 2019 in honor of Tony. Since then, it has raised over $200,000 for its causes.
"He always told us to do all the good we can," said J.P. Etchison, Tony's oldest son and also a member of the board.
J.P. shared a story about his father's values: "My dad's first question wasn't 'Why did it happen?' It was, 'Well, what else does this kid need?'"
The golf outing is a key fundraiser for the foundation and will be held at Fox Prairie Golf Course in Noblesville. The organization is currently seeking sponsors to help make the event a success.
