Fatal Shooting Reported at Northwest Side Apartments

One person died in a shooting at an apartment complex on Indianapolis' northwest side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Police were called to The Grove on Harcourt apartments around 12:17 p.m. after receiving reports of a person shot. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and he died at the scene.

The IMPD did not release any information on possible suspects or the victim's name, but a public information officer was expected to provide further details later in the day.
