Homicide Investigation Launched After Woman's Body Found in Indianapolis Home

A homicide investigation has been launched after a woman's body was found in an Indianapolis home on Tuesday night.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to the scene at around 7:25 p.m. at a residence in the 4900 block of Rockville Road, located in the Harrison Grove Estates mobile home community.

Initially, investigators did not find any visible signs of trauma, but further examination by the Marion County Coroner's Office revealed internal trauma, leading to the case being treated as a homicide.

"We're looking into everything and asking anyone with information to come forward," said IMPD Detective TyAnn Lambert, who has been assigned to the case. "If you have any information, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at 317-327-3475 or [email protected]."
