I-69 Southbound Closed Due to Serious Crash at 116th Street Exit

Interstate 69 southbound was closed at the 116th Street exit on Tuesday morning due to a serious crash, according to Indiana State Police.

The incident occurred sometime before 9 a.m. under the 116th Street bridge over I-69, near the Hamilton Town Center in Hamilton County.

"A crash reconstruction team is responding to the scene."

Sgt. Perrine noted that all traffic was being diverted onto Exit 210 and advised motorists to expect delays in the area for at least two hours.
