Jeffersonville Police Seek Information on Fatal Hit-and-Run on 8th Street

The Jeffersonville Police Department is seeking the public's help in gathering information on a fatal hit-and-run that occurred early Sunday morning. According to officials, officers were called to the 1800 block of 8th Street just before 3:00 a.m. to investigate a hit-and-run incident between a vehicle and a pedestrian.The pedestrian, an unidentified man, died at the scene. Police have identified the driver and vehicle responsible for the accident and are "actively working all available leads related to this incident."
