Keystone Fire Near Fashion Mall Responded by IFD

Indianapolis firefighters responded to a fire at an old extended-stay hotel near the Fashion Mall at Keystone on Friday morning. The Indianapolis Fire Department arrived around 9:15 a.m. at the former TownePlace Suites Indianapolis Keystone, located off of 86th Street and about half a mile south of the mall.

The fire began while crews were renovating the building, according to firefighters at the scene.

Indianapolis Fire Department officials did not release information on how the fire started or whether there were any injuries.
