Anthony Richardson to Start as Quarterback in Week 11

INDIANAPOLIS — Anthony Richardson is set to return as the starting quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Coach Shane Steichen announced that Richardson will lead the team in Week 11 against the New York Jets. He expressed confidence in Richardson's progress, stating that he has “made the necessary steps to move forward” and will remain the starting QB for the rest of the season.

This decision follows a challenging period for Richardson, who had to leave a late October game against the Texans after two plays that required him to scramble. After he tapped his helmet signaling a need to come out, Joe Flacco briefly filled in before taking over as the starting quarterback while Richardson sat on the bench.

The Colts are scheduled to face off against the Jets this Sunday at 1 p.m.
