Clark Out Again: Iowa Star Set to Miss Fourth Consecutive Game
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark will miss her fourth consecutive game due to a right groin injury, the team's latest injury report confirms.
Clark underwent further medical evaluations earlier in the week and was given the all-clear with no additional damage or injuries found. However, there is still no timetable for her return to the court.
Clark initially injured her right groin during a game against the Connecticut Sun on July 15. The Fever have struggled without their star player, going 1-2 in games played without her.
This will be Clark's 13th regular season game missed due to injury this season. She has also sat out the Commissioner's Cup championship game and All-Star Game.
When healthy, Clark averages 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game. The Fever are 8-5 with her in the lineup and 5-7 without her.
The team is currently sixth in the WNBA standings with a record of 13-12. They will look to bounce back from their recent struggles when they face the Chicago Sky on Sunday at 3 p.m.
