Hull Takes Aim at Clark's Spot in 3-Point Contest
Organizers of the WNBA All-Star Game have tapped Lexie Hull, a fourth-year guard for the Indiana Fever and teammate of Caitlin Clark, to replace Clark in the STARRY 3-Point Contest on Friday night. Clark announced earlier that she would miss both the contest and the All-Star Game due to a right groin injury.
This is Hull's first involvement at the WNBA All-Star weekend.
With a strong showing halfway through the season, Hull holds the league's fourth-highest three-point percentage, scoring 29 of her 62 attempts for 46.8%.
Hull will compete against Sonia Citron (Washington Mystics), Allisha Gray (Atlanta Dream), Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty), and Kelsey Plum (LA Sparks) as the lone non-All-Star participant. Grey and Ionescu enter Friday night as the past two winners, winning in 2025 and 2024, respectively.
