Record-Breaking Sale: Caitlin Clark's WNBA Rookie Card Sells for $660,000
Caitlin Clark has set yet another record with her 2024 WNBA rookie card selling for a staggering $660,000 at a public auction. This sale price surpasses the previous mark of $366,000 for Clark's 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Signatures Gold Vinyl 1/1 PSA 10 in March.
The record-breaking card is signed and inscribed with Clark's scoring total for her rookie season and features a Logowoman patch seen on WNBA jerseys. This unique combination makes the card a top pick among collectors, who drove up the bidding to reach the final sale price of $660,000. The card had entered extended bidding at $336,000 before reaching its new record-high price.
The sale is part of seven Clark cards sold at Fanatics Collect on Thursday night, with four of them coming from Panini America's 2024 Rookie Royalty WNBA collection. This brings the total number of Clark cards sold at public auction to 14, exceeding her salary this season with the Indiana Fever.
This record may be challenged soon, as an Immaculate Logowoman 1/1 Clark card is scheduled for sale on August 9, with a current bid price of $180,000 before a buyer's premium on 17 bids.
