Indy Gets a Taste of Heat with Joella's Hot Chicken

Taste of Indy, the city's largest food truck festival, is coming to White River State Park on July 5. The event promises to delight visitors with its diverse flavors and activities.

The festival will feature a variety of food vendors, including Joella's Hot Chicken, which is renowned for its mouth-watering wing flavors. In addition to the delicious eats, attendees can enjoy amusement rides, a 100-foot obstacle course, foam axe throwing, and an all-day concert on the canal.

“We’re excited to showcase a whole bunch of different restaurants, food trucks, and caterers,” said Jonathan Warren from Taste of Indy.

Rachel Holtz from Joella's Hot Chicken shared her enthusiasm for the partnership: “We thought it’d be a great opportunity to partner with them.”

Joella's Hot Chicken is offering a special deal - buy one wing, get one free - until June 29. The festival will feature a range of flavors, from mild to spicy, including ghost pepper and Carolina Reaper.

The Taste of Indy festival is family-friendly, with free entry for children 12 and under, while adult tickets are available for $20. Joella's Hot Chicken will be present at the festival with its food truck.
